a paperback dictionary? Well maybe an electronic talking dictionary is just the right thing

UWSP library. >> NARRATOR: The Franklin Talking Dictionary
is an electronic and portable dictionary that you can take with you wherever you go. It
provides intant access to over 500,000 words. Type in a word and have it read to you. Then
look up the definition! >> NARRATOR: So now we're going to go through
the dictionary guide and look at some features of the talking dictionary.
>> NARRATOR: First on top is the on/off key which turns the unit on and off. Down in the
lower left hand corner are the speakers, and below that is the speaker button that reads
the word to you. To the right is the Enter key and that searches for the definition.
Above that are the functions keys, and each of these keys corresponds to the dictionary
or organizer function that appears directly above it on the screen. Above that is the
volume control, and this dial controls the volume of the speaker or headphones. And finally
here is the headphone jack. The headphone jack is designed for 3.5 millimeter. 35 ohlm
impedence stereo headphones. A word of caution is that monophonic headphones will not work
