Republican representatives Mike Coffman Cory Gardner
dogle am born and Scott Tipton are all from Colorado
and they just joined their delegation
and asking the president to send emergency funds to help their
constituents
combat and recover from the more than 14
inches of rain that have flooded Colorado this month
now on how many you guys have seen the picture and seen the video are coming
out from Colorado right now
but they are absolutely incredible the devastation
is immense in fact out of 5 it ever seen anything like that
I in the United States before so President Obama
responded by signing an emergency declaration on Sunday
just absolutely the right thing to do and you know what else is the right
thing to do
you send FEMA funds now course they need a vote on that but nonetheless
yes and FEMA funds so are all
for these guys also signed on to a July
10th 2013 letter from the entire delegation to President Obama
asking him for a federal major disaster declaration
for summer wildfires their request noted that
such a declaration would quote provide urgently needed resources and support
to the state communities and especially the families who have been
uprooted by these wildfires so
let's pause here you see the picture that we're getting so far
Gruber republican a representatives from Colorado
who apparently care but enough about the people
to fight for them when a disaster hits whether it be in the form of a wildfire
whether be in the form
of floods there on it they're actually doing their job representing the people
so the c-myc somewhat responsible representatives
looking out for the american people right well
let's see what else they did interesting back in January
there was a little vote in the house of representatives that provided fifty
billion dollars
in Sandy relief yet among those voting against the bill work of men
Gardner lamb born and tip didn't
now that's bad enough because that fifty billion dollar bill was the bulk of the
relief for Sandy
you a call sandy I believe it was the largest hurricane that's ever hit the
Northeast
in the history of america but now no out that $50 billion
now to brush it to the side we're not so sure we're in favor
as if that wasn't bad enough so love those guys
even voted against the preliminary bill remember bill is in two parts
it was the first 1i was nine billion dollars which was urgently needed
immediately and then a congressman on break because well
why would you fully by hurricane relief instead I'm going on break of course you
go on break first and use it
Serena Beach under an umbrella no up so it s the first nine billion they take a
break and when we come back to test the 59
the first nine billion some the jackasses even vote against
and you know what their excuses for so many the republicans excuses were
they all were you know of course I would love to vote for it i mean
its disaster relief were all americans here
but the problem is that the bill is soul riddled with pork there
we can't doing you want to guess how long
the bill was one-page
it was one
change one-page
and they voted now
