So what can you do if your child is injured by an unsafe toy or seat?
My name's Kenneth Berger, and
I represent injured children in Lexington, and across South Carolina.
I made this video because more more kids are being
injured due to defective or unsafe products.
Now, when it comes to unsafe toys,
you've probably seen things in the news about children
being poisoned by toys, children swallowing
unsafe toys, and when it comes to car seats
or baby seats, a lot of times what we see is that those seats
aren't up to the proper regulatory standards,
or that those seats malfunction and children fall
and sustain injuries from injured backs all the way to skull fractures.
If your child's been injured by an unsafe baby or child product,
you can bring a claim against the retailer, i.e., the company who sold it to you,
but you can also bring a claim against the distributor of the product,
and company that manufactured that product.
Now, some other distributors and manufacturers might be located
overseas. However, if your child was injured in South Carolina,
there's a pretty high likelihood that you can still file the claim
right here in South Carolina. If you have questions
about a case involving your son or daughter,
and they were injured by an unsafe product, know that I'm here to help.
You can call me for a free consultation, or you can go on my website and request free
copies of my books.
Just know that we're here for you, and you don't have to take on the insurance company
alone.
