In Kuching, there's one place that you can't miss out on. It's
definitely, Swee Kang for the famous Ice Kacang.
Some people have hi tea,
some people have a little snack. But Kuching Ais,
we have Swee Kang.
Swee Kang is a third generation ice kachang dessert stall. The uncle is so good
that at every national holiday, ministers will beg him to cater his famous ice kachang
at the private functions.
Each ice kachang is prepared with intense perfection.
In Swee Kang Ais Kacang, there is a herbal tea jelly called chin chow,
yellow corn, cooked red beans and the bright green thing is called chendol which
is a rice flowered jelly,
and the rest is shaved ice and sweet coconut milk.
To get the here, tell your driver to go to Swee Kang on Jalan Haji Taha. It's
about ten minutes out of the city but it's well worth the trip.
