Hello everybody! Today let's talk about candy!
This year my parents sent me a little box of candy, 'cause it's Halloween, or it was Halloween in America
and so I'm going to review these candies with you, in case you go someplace with these candies and you want to try them. Ok?
First,
Reese's Cups! They are one of my favorite candies in the world
They are chocolate, surrounding a block of peanut butter
So, this is an individual, one cup.
Let's open it up!
Oh doesn't that look delicious?
It's a little melted, squished on top, but it's chocolate and inside is peanut butter
Take off the wrapper
... and there's peanut butter inside
I like Reese's Cups
Next we have Junior Mints
Junior Mints are, as the title says, a kind of mint
It's a small box
So you can see there's a little bit of chocolate surrounding a white minty center
The minty part is a little gooey, but it dissolves in your mouth
So let's open this up
There we are, a bunch of little Junior Mints
Let's pour a couple out Pour them all out!
They look like this
If I bite one in half, there's a whitish, clearish mint inside
It's good!
I'll finish those later
And let's see here
We also got a bag of KitKats!
I'm not going to open these because Yuki wants them
but you can see this is two little KitKats inside I think they're smaller than the ones we have here in Japan
and the chocolate is a little different, so if you want to try these try them when you're over there (if you're in America)
Next, this is a Halloween themed candy Now Dots is a kind of gumdrop
Like, a gummy thing
But they're not like Japanese gummy things (Gumi) They're different
And cause these are Halloween this is Blood Orange and they are black colored, but they taste like Orange
So here, is a blood orange, they're black and the fun part about these is they are very sticky
Very very sticky You have to eat them carefully if you have a lot of fillings in your mouth
So like, Yuki, she ate some, and it pulled her filling out and we had to run to the Dentist!
She's not showing in this video because of that (she's embarassed) but now she has a brand new tooth thing, and it's cute
So here's my gumdrop, let's see if it takes out my filling
It's very much an American - gummy thing
Next is a Halloween favorite Candy Corn!
Shaped long long kernels of corn
When I was little I would just eat this stuff like crazy until I threw up, at like Halloween and Christmas and things
I'm not going to eat that much but let's open the bag
This is a candy corn and it's just regular flavor
Mmmmmm! Sugary, sweet!
Yuki votes no on Candy Corn
Next I'm just going to show you,
but at many holidays, Easter, Christmas, Halloween, we have Peeps
The original Peeps are shaped like little yellow chickens, baby chickens
They are marshmallow on the inside and the outside is a little sugar, colored
- colored sugar, that, well in this case looks like pumpkin, jack-o-lantern These ones are ghosts
They're not bad, they're not my favorite at all, I always give them to Yuki
They're not bad, but they're not my favorite, I like regular Marshmallows, and I can't eat many of them at much because they make me too - too sugary
Our last thing, this is a - If you know the store Trader Joe's, in America. It is a chain that pretends to be a health food place
These are basically a kind of Oreo
But they are shaped like little pumpkin heads, jack-o-lanterns and they have orange cream instead of white cream
but they are basically Oreos
Now you can find things like this in America, you can find the themed stuff This is cute, a cute box. We'll open these up later, probably last
Ok, so if you go to America, if you like Peanut Butter, get Reese's Cups
If you like mint, get Junior Mints
If you like chocolate, get KitKats, or another kind of chocolate, Hershey's bars
If you like gummy things, and you're feeling like some dangerous gummy things, get some Dots
They have different flavors over there, this is just the Halloween flavor, get regular flavors
And if you are there at the right time of year get some candy corn! See how much you can eat
Ok, I'm feeling sick, so I'll see you next time!
