That will help us to best determine the fix for your TV Repair and get the response back
to you as quickly as possible. Just to go over a few boards here on the TV.
Over here we have the main board, also referred to as the A Board. Here we have the SS Board,
also referred to as an X Sustain, or X Main board on some TV brands. Here we have the
power supply board, which can also be referred to as the P Board. Here we have the SC Board,
this can also be referred to as the Y Sustain, YSUS and Y Main board for different brands.
Here we have the buffers that connect to the SC Board. These are also SU and SD boards
and can be Y Scan Drives and different buffers for different brands as well.
We will show now what the 14 blink code looks like on the Panasonic Plasma TV. If you are
receiving the 14 blink code on your Panasonic Plasma TV, the first place you will want to
start once you have taken the back cover off the TV is checking the connection between
the P6 and the A6. This cable here that runs between the connection here at the P6 at the
power supply board and the A6 connection here on the A main board.
So, when you are checking these connections you will want to make sure they are firmly
in and seated correctly. Once you have seen that the connections are seated properly,
then you will want to unplug the TV and wait for 4 minutes. After that 4 minutes then reconnect
the TV to power. If the TV is working correctly again, then you should be good to go and you
can stop diagnosing. If you plug the TV back in and your TV is
still not working correctly, then you will want to unplug the TV and then plug it back
in and press the power switch immediately after the first relay click from the power
supply. So after you plug your TV back in you will
hear the power supply click and you will want to press in the power button on your TV. The
blink code LED will now either switch to a solid red error code or it will continue to
blink. If it stays solid red, then you will want to replace the power supply board, right
here. If the LED continues to blink, then you will want to replace the A main board
which is right over here. So, once you have checked these connections
and they look good if, if you plug your TV in and you are still having problems, unplug
it, wait a second plug it back in, after you hear that click from the power supply immediately
press the power button on the outside of your TV and then check the error code. If the error
code continues to blink then you will want to replace your A Main Board over here, if
the error code goes solid red, then you will want to replace the power supply board here.
Now, before removing these boards or replacing them, you will want to do a few things, you
will want to turn off your TV, unplug it from any power, you will also want to make sure
you have grounded yourself properly so that you don't damage any of the boards, or the
TV. Then after that, you will want to go ahead
and remove these cables, one by one from the board as we go around here. After you have
removed all the cables, then you can undo the screws you with a screwdriver. your board
will simply come off and then you can replace it with a new board.
Put the screws back in to secure it to the chassis and then put the cables back together
on your replacement board. Now you have replaced your board and you will want to put the back
cover back on the TV and turn on the TV to see if it is working properly.
