state in the world. It dates back to the time of Nero and in this area
is where the emperor had his chariot races.
And now of course the Vatican City is known to everyone
as the residence of the Pope. Here you’ll find St. Peter's Basilica
and the incredible Sistine Chapel housing the al fresco works of
Michelangelo. This is the most famous art gallery of the western world.
