so does marketing change in a social world well in some ways it's very
similar you've still got to get people to be aware of you, value what you have to offer
and buy it but on the other hand there's new media new tools and new behaviours by your
customers and somehow you need to key into those now the first thing to do is get familiar to all
the tools and media that might be available to you that means you need to go out there
and start testing them and seeing how they work with your target markets and equally
understanding which one of those media your target markets are using if you find something
that works exploit it now to make it really valuable you've got to do a number of things
firstly you've got to make sure that your message is relevant to your markets and delivered
in a way they will receive it and it's about what they need and solving their problems
that you've got to focus on alongside that you've got to make sure you're being consistent
repeating the message over and over again you've got to be persistent doing this stuff
regularly and being there when they need you and lastly you've got to make sure that your
measuring your performance set yourself targets monitor the results learn and then exploit
