Let's bow our heads and hearts in front of God.
Dear Saviour, Lord Jesus Christ! You are our hearts' desire,
we want to see you with our eyes and we want to delight in you Lord Jesus Christ.
Lord Jesus you are so wonderful, we are so in love with you,
Lord Jesus you are worthy of all praise
you are worthy of all awe, love and worship
we uplift you and delight in you and look only at you.
And we are content in you and through you. Glory to you, hallelujah. Thank you for being here through your Holy Spirit.
We thank you that you imbue our hearts with your presence and we thank you that we are liberated and healed in the presence of your spirit and are getting closer to you.
What held us back, what tied us down till now, will have no power over us anymore because your dear spirit unbinds us and where your spirit is there is real freedom.
Come, Holy Spirit and permeate us with your presence and let your strength permeate us, let us love you more, let us follow you, let us watch you and delight in you.
Glory to you for your presence. Our souls find peace in you, glory to you. Halleluja, amen.
Beloved, I was very eager to come to you in Miskolc, our brethren in Komárom are also praying for these occasions.
As I was about to leave the pastor came to me and prayed for me with very similar words to what you have read here, brother István.
He prayed like this: Let the Lord use you and rescue you from the hands of those who don't evaluate God's things the way they supposed to.
Right away I became mindful of situations when people try to force their... how to say, their own visions, their own opinions on God's servant.
How good it is to be free indeed for the Lord Jesus, because we do not only want to proclaim the dogmas of a denomination or a religious group,
but to proclaim the pure gospel of the Lord Jesus, and to preach his clear words.
You know that throughout history many thing got mixed into churches, into teachings.
To me the Lord Jesus said: Go back, Sandor, go back totally to the basics, back to Christ's teachings, not only in theory but in practice as well!
Brethren, I thought of a lot of things that I know this already, I know that, I've heard those and while the years flown by over my head I became aware
that I didn't totally hold tight to the Scriptures.
And what does the Lord Jesus Christ say in the gospel of John, in Chapter 14, verse 23? This is what he says:
"If a man love me, he will keep my words" and in the 24th verse: "He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings"
Beloved I know many of you came here to hear good and nice things, and it is good intention I can assure you of that.
But beloved until the desire grows bigger in you to better serve the Lord, to respect Him more, to serve Him with a clean heart - if you don't have this desire
then you can hear new things, nice things, fervent ones even, but you will not benefit from that.
Your heart has to have this attitude: Lord, I am here so that when I leave I would delight in You more.
You would be dear to me, even dearer so that I can devote my life to you.
If you've come here with this desire then I believe God will bless you and you won't leave emptyhanded.
You know, there is the song of Anna. Forgive me, I will have to find it it the gospel of Luke.
I share with you this very interesting verse since God's maidservant sings here something very interesting.
Luke chapter one.
verse 53. Luke 1:53.
How does it go in your translation? Do read it please.
Luke 1:53 - "He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away."
Well, this is the main thing. The important thing is what was your heart like when you came here.
When we come here rich, then we will go away emptyhanded.
When we come here hungry and thirsty, then, according to the Scripture He will fill us and bless us.
Brethren, before we would go any further I would like to thank you for your prayers.
I know you have prayed for me a lot since you knew about the operation that was necessary.
It was getting very oppressing for me.
About two months before the surgery scheduled for January
I had terrible pains and I remember sitting at the table and my then 9-year-old son was watching me as I had those pains in my head
and my whole face got distorted from the pain till it subsided.
And I watched my son sitting across from me and I saw he was suffering seeing me, his dad, suffering so much.
He also suffered in his little heart.
So I said to him: Tommy, would you like to pray for daddy?
He said neither yes nor no, but jumped up from across the table
and ran to me, put his hands on my head and started to pray to God
Imagine, brethren, from that moment on till the surgery I had no headache - for 2 month I had no pain in my head.
No sign of pain or disease whatsoever.
It was a big struggle because I was already scheduled for surgery.
So we went to the professor and told him that I have no pain, there are no headaches anymore and all that.
And he said that his opinion is still to go on with the surgery because it is like a vulcano.
It is like a vulcano and for some reason it is dormant now and it might stay like that for the rest of my life or it can wake up any time again.
And seeing the professor still maintaining that the surgery was needed and knowing that so many are praying for my recovery,
my deliverance from this situation, and having seen my son's prayer wonderfully answered by God,
I said: Lord, I don't know what your perfect will is.
I know my brethren would like to see God's miracle and want to see their prayer answered but if you have something else in store for me
Lord I submit myself to You and Your will be done.
And it was interesting that when we went to the hospital I was already given a bed in the ER.
My wife once more spoke with the professor saying: Doctor, understand, my husband has no more pain in his head!
And he said: My opinion is still the same, the tumor has to go.
And I said: Lord, your holy will be done, if that's necessary, I submit myself.
And I sat on the bed in the ER where I was gonna be taken for surgery from.
And I made a phone call to a brother, a very close brother and said to him:
Dear brother, I'm here at the hospital and they want me to have the surgery so pray for me so God's will be done.
And this brother became very depressed and asked: Sándor, are you there at the hospital?
We didn't pray for you to be at the hospital, we didn't pray for you to have surgery. We prayed so God would heal you!
And I could feel the he was very much depressed because of this.
As you can imagine there was a huge struggle within me because to seek God's will and to find peace in His will - for this you have to listen to Him very much.
And I only knew this one thing: I had peace in my heart, in my soul.
I don't know how to tell you this, but before a serious operation like this, where they cut your head open and dig in, this is a very serious situation.
And I told him: Dear brother, can you imagine a big surface, like a surface of a very big lake, without the tiniest ripple?
Can you?
He thought for a while, then said: "In theory, yes I can."
And I said: You see, that's what my soul, my heart is like, there is no restlessness, no doubt in my heart.
I'm ready to see God do a miracle in the very last second by removing that bump from my head.
But I am ready, here I lay waiting for His will, and there is no unrest in my soul.
There is peace, not even a small ripple is in my soul. And this brother shouted: Is that really true, Sandor?
Yes, it is true. There is peace in my heart, I submitted my life and I am ready to die, I am ready to live.
If the Lord so decides and takes my soul today then I am finished, I am ready.
But should He give me some more years I trust Him with that and there is no unrest in my soul. Not even a small ripple.
And then this brother started to praise the Lord and said: Sándor, your liberty has liberated me as well!
And when he said that on the phone I had this great revelation from God: only a free man can minister in freeing an other.
