Hi here’s a short video about how I made my animation for Taste KU.
For this scene I used a green screen as I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with the
background and it made it a bit easier when experimenting. This is what it looks like
when it is all put together. For most of the other scenes I went into the uni’s animation
department and used their special stop motion tripods to make sure my animation was as still
and smooth as possible.
Most of the models are made out of Plasticine, especially the fruit as it made them easier
to manipulate when animated.
For the camel I had to use cocktail sticks to reinforce his legs although it doesn’t
exactly make him walk like a camel, but at least he is walking!
For the cannon I used air drying clay and wood. I painted it up and in this scene you
can see I used cotton wool for the clouds and used coloured paper for the flames.
And for this scene I used layers of acetate which I drew over, felt and a background scene;
and finally this is a clay pineapple on a stick. So that is my brief overview of how
I made my animation, so I hope you have enjoyed watching that and the animation and maybe
there will be many more. Bye bye.
