So this next mask is a great mask for hydrating, clarifying, and getting rid of unwanted pigment
in the skin. So we are going to use a quarter of a cup of honey. Honey is really good for
hydrating the skin. We're going to do a half of a cup of yogurt which is really good for
bringing down inflammation in the skin. It's also an antibacterial ingredient because of
the acidophilis in yogurt. So this is amazing.
We are going to use half of an avocado. Avocado contains a lot of really good fat which is
great to eat so it's great for your skin in your diet, but it's also really wonderful
as a facial mask ingredient. And then we're going to use the juice from half of a lemon.
The lemon juice is really good for pigment. And it's really good for tightening up the
pores. So if you want really porcelain looking skin, this is a great mask for you.
I'm going to cut my avocado in half and scoop half of it out into my bowl with the honey.
Now I'm going to cut my lemon and squeeze the juice from half of it into the mixture. And then finally I'm going to
add my yogurt.
So I prefer using a fork for this recipe because basically I just want to mash the avocado
so that it blends properly with the other ingredients. You can see, it actually mashes
pretty easily into a nice mixture that smells amazing.
Then you're just going to apply this to your skin. It's actually very cooling. So if you
have sensitive skin, this mask won't hurt you or be a problem for you whatsoever. Like
I said the avocado has a lot of good fat and good fat keeps your skin very hydrated. And
the lemon juice is great for pigment. So you have a lot of really nice ingredients mixed
together with the honey which makes it hydrating. It makes it calming. But also lightening for
the skin.
Leave this mixture on for 20 minutes and rinse with tepid water, which just means not too
hot and not too cold. And you're going to wind up with really beautiful glowing skin
at the end. The pigment is going to be evened out. Your pores are even going to look like
they shrank. And I can't imagine a better mask for any skin type.
