In the beginning, God created. And then God created
us.
He made us in His image.
He made us to create, like Him.
In the beginning,
we created.
We were all child artists.
Creating was joyful;
it was generous;
it was carefree.
The simple pleasure of bringing new things into existence, of creating beauty.
It is what we were made to do.
The grown-up version of ourselves is always asking,
"What is the meaning of my life?"
"Why am I here?"
We didn't ask these questions when we were
five years old
Have we simply
forgotten what we used to know?
Have the answers been somehow
painted over in our minds?
Is life really just about paying the bills,
avoiding failure, growing up?
When we were kids, we knew what life was about.
It's time to rediscover what we used to know
and live the life we were created to live.
