Firstly, sorry the audio is terrible!!!
Step 1: Make your room.
Raise the ceiling at least twice as high as the avi.
Delete the ceiling.
Step 2: Select all sides. Right - Click. Reverse Faces.
Step 3: Texture the inside.
Step 4: Make the mesh a group.
Centering the mesh can be helpful.
>.< I know ... I repeat myself a lot.
Step 5: Add the furniture nodes.
Plug-In's =>Meshout => Add Furniture (Floor)
To quickly and easily create furniture nodes ...
Make sure your initial node is highlighted.
Tap the CTRL button.
Click somewhere around the node, but not on it.
To fill a room with nodes faster, highlight/select multiple nodes before hitting CTRL.
Remember: Your cursor should say "On Face" before you move a node.
Step 6: Renumber nodes.
Select all the furniture nodes.
Plug-in's => Meshout => Renumber Furniture
Thank you, AppocalypseSurvivor!!!
Step 7: Add Standing Nodes
Plug-In's => Meshout => Add PoseGroup (Standing)
Copy and paste the new nodes to where you want avis to be able to stand.
This is just the basics, remember.
When you are making your awesome room mesh, you probably won't want a standing node every few inches.
Select all of the standing nodes.
Step 8: Renumber Nodes
Plug-In's => Meshout => Renumber PoseGroups
Make sure to check a few of your nodes to make sure it worked.
Step 9: Add and position the camera
Plug-In's => Meshout => Add Camera Dolly
Within your standing nodes, find number one.
It can be helpful to move Node 1 to the center, since the camera is loaded in the center automatically.
If you don't want to move nodes, just make sure the camera is over Node 1.
The camera has two parts: a camera-looking end and a circle.
The circle needs to be over Node 1.
Stay Tuned!! ((lol))
Step 10: Save, Export, and Upload
Plug-In's => Meshout => Export IMVU Fileset (Include Untextured Faces)
Derive from the room, obviously C:
Add your .xmf in the meshes tab.
Add your .xsf in the Config tab.
Don't worry about the lighting area for right now.
Add your texture(s).
I made a petshop as my first room from scratch!!! (Linked below)
In the mesh I made, my furniture nodes worked, but not my standing.
Actually it's more like 30 seconds, silly girl... :P
I redid the nodes and resaved, reexported, etc.
Ooooo it does work!!
The mesh you are seeing now.
Yes, the camera is hingering right now.
Yes, I will make another video with more info on it.
DO NOT CLICK "DOUBLE SIDED"
...please.
It makes your room very difficult to look into.
