Do you know who is your God? Do you know Allah?
Do you know that there are 99 names of Allah that is mention in the Quran
And one of them… is Al-Wadood
Al-wadood means The All-Loving. Al-Wadood comes from the word wid.
Wid means pure love, free from jealousy, envy or hate. It is the highest level of love.
Al-Wadood has two meanings. The first one is the One that loves.
And the second one is al-Mahbub the One that is loved.
Allah, the creator of heavens and earth, says He loves you
He loves them and they love Him. (5:54)
Despite our sins that are done everyday, Al-Wadood still loves us.
How can this be…Subhanallah.
Everyday, every moment, Allah is waiting for us so that we come closer to Him.
In one hadith, Allah says
If he (My servant) mention about Me within himself, I mention of him within Myself
and if he mention of Me in an assembly, I mention of him in an assembly better than it.
If you try to love Allah, Allah will love you and put love of people to you.
Allah says in the Quran,
Indeed those who believed and did good deeds
The Most Gracious will appoint love for them. 19;96.
This means that you will feel that Allah loves you, and Allah will make you love Allah.
In Sahih Al Bukhari, the Prophet (SAW) says
When Allah (Sub’haanahu Wa Ta’ala) loves someone he calls Jibreel and Allah then says
“Oh Jibreel! I love this person, so love him!”
and Allah names that person and then Jibreel loves that person.
Then Jibreel calls out to all the angels of the heavens and he says,
“Allah loves this person, so love him!”
so all the angels love him.
And then Allah places the pleasure in the hearts of the people towards this person.
The fact that you are watching this,
Proves that Allah wants you to know that He loves you no matter who you are.
Every day and every moment, Allah send signals to you,
creating this beautiful earth, to show His love for you.
Let’s reach out our hands and says ‘I love Allah’
