Welcome to Absurdity Today’s Special Hurricane Sandy Update:
The Huffington post reports that hundreds of thousands of people are without power,
and this time, they arent’t referring to voter suppression.
Atlantic City is more underwater than a countrywide mortgage.
In Massachusetts the roof of a well known yacht club was ripped clean off. Mitt Romney
quickly reassured a nervous nation that his assets are still safe.
The façade of a manhattan building collapsed into the street. Unfortunately, Romney’s
façade continues to remains in tact.
CBS is not running new episodes of their prime time line up but will air reruns, thus insuring
that the whole country suffers along with the east coast.
Fox news dropped Bill O’Reilly from their Primetime line up to focus on Storm coverage
thus for one night addressing climate change by plugging up what may be the world biggest
source of hot air.
The infamous Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn overflowed its banks sending centuries of industrial
pollutants and toxic heavy metals onto neighborhood streets, along with several hundred pairs
of cement shoes.
