hi this is Jennifer from Tarle speech with your pronunciation question today's
question is how do I pronounce the word weary or feeling tired and wear to have
something on your body spelling really confuses this word pair
today they're spelled almost exactly the same w e a a r y for weary and w e a
r for wear the R vowel trips up a lot of people here for the word weary
we're going to use the ear a vowel and for the word wear we are going to use
the air vowel so we're you're gonna smile for the ear and then round your
lips lightly and then end with the long e by smiling again for wear you are going to
open your mouth wide for that air and then move to that slightly rounded mouth
for the er weary wear weary weary weary wear wear wear
when I wear high-heeled shoes I have to rest my weary feet at the end of the day
give it a try I know people are going to notice the
