Sarah: After you complete this activity
You'll be able to find all kinds of helpful resources
to meet your personal and academic infomation needs.
And you'll be able to determine, through this workshop,
whether it is best to use Google, or not.
Toward that end: Imagine that the instructor of your class
has assigned everyone to write a paper on one of two topics
1.) Student Financial Aid, or 2.) Trampoline Safety
If you choose the Student Financial Aid topic
you will examine what the best methods are for gathering
helpful, unbiased resources on borrowing money as a student.
If you choose the trampoline safety scenario,
you will imagine being the parent of a child who is begging to have a trampoline.
It is something you have considered purchasing,
but aren't sure how to protect your child and their friends.
Is Google® a resource to use in answering your questions?
Now the adventure begins -
You will need to choose one of the two folders (in Bb).
Either the STUDENT FINANCIAL AID folder …
or the TRAMPOLINE SAFETY hypothetical scenario
and you will be on your way to deciding
if it is better to Google, or not to Google.
