another week of painting the howling banshees for the get it painted challenge
next speaking and welcome to this video right another update on the honing ban
cheese painting progress before that though if you would like to keep up to
date with the wonders of Warhammer 40k then please give me a SUb and hit the
back button so you don't miss an upload ok so another week of painting the
howling banshees and once again I put in about ten hours on these been really
really busy building noise Marines at the same time so haven't put in quite as
much work as I would have hoped but still I have made good progress that's
what it's all about so let's have a look at the work that I
have been doing ok so this is how the girls are looking so first of all I went
in and I finished the hair so it gave that bright pink though I had previously
a dry brush of white and then I gave it a purple wash from then on it was just a
case of going in and doing all of the black sections so once again quite
fiddly just making sure I didn't get black on any of the armor that are
previously painted so let's zoom in and have a closer look at the work so that
is the hair and as I said and previously that technique is nice quick and simple
and easy and also I think looks pretty cool so that is how the hair is looking
and that matches up to the rest of my army and like I said the rest was really
just cutting in all the black areas so they've got these little pouches on them
and some straps and things to be fair there's still some more blacking in to
do but I probably do that after I've done the bone color now on the 2x arts
they are both standing on a helmet they are the same models but yeah I painted
them differently both blood dangers of course are the one on the left is a
tactical marine and the one on the right is death company so yeah I've got to
have blood angles dead on my bases on the old art that is the theme of the
basis that is how they're looking so yeah really happy with the progress I
think I'm going to go in now and get cracking on this armor once the armor is
done then it's just that the fine details I do have a slight issue to be
fair with these models they metal of course but a little bit of a
problem some of the castes in particular on their eyes I've noticed a few the
eyes are a bit dodgy but I mean that's part and parcel of metal unfortunately
but we'll deal with that when we come to painting them but on the whole really
really happy with them hope you like them to beam me up
