Fat is the big misunderstood within the world of nutrition. ussualy asociated to
the thoght of if I eat fat I will store fat. but they are absolutle necessary and
even eating some kind of fat will help us to burn fat.
we can say fats are a source of energy for the future, our body foresees eventual lacks
of
other energies. also they have another totally essencial functions in our bodies: skeletal,
joints, heart, brain, an another organs.
fat have a double carbon bound wich make them really hard for our body to metabolize them.
but if we eat them in a correct ratio with the other macronutrients, fat will be used
as
energy and not simply stored. this is whats called the fat brak down into monoglycerids
and free
fatty acids.
we can tell apart fats of the type of satured fats, from animals, and insaturated fats,
wich
are ussualy found in a liquid state. within these last ones we can differentiate between
monoinsturated fats normally asociated to the bad cholesterol reduction, and the monosaturated,
regarded
omega 3 and 6. the only kind of fat you should ever avoid is the so called trans fat.
this fat is the one which is, by an industrial process, turned from liquid to lard. and can
cause a havoc in our bodies
we must have fats in every intake trouhout the day. but becasue its slow metabolization
they are not to take
just before a workout. furthermore, these fats avoided can be made up and added in the
before bed intake
as to face long sleep nigh with plenty of steady energy.
the amount of daily fat eaten depends on your goals, but it always has to be arround 10
to 20% of the
daily calories.
there are lots of meals loaded with fats. but these are mostly trans. remember to avoid
this kind of fat
that is usually in all pastry and tasty things. the good fats you must eat will be found in
cheese
avocado, olive oil, fatty fishes like salmon
to sum up, it is not a no against fat, but to a certain kind of fats, and be carefull
with the fat intake.
