I don’t just focus on online tournaments only. I focus on offline tournaments as well.
But you see, back then, I wasn’t on an overseas team. So it looks like I focused mostly on online tournaments because I didn’t get many opportunities to attend overseas tournaments.
Right now for this month, I participated in four big tournaments. I think I’m going to be able to participate in even more tournaments from here on out and show an even better form.
I’m very adaptable when it comes to participating in overseas tournaments for like NA or EU even though the times are not the best for Korea.
So I think that’s why whenever I participate in a big tournament in NA or EU, I have a nice advantage. And I also think that’s why I can participate in all these online tournaments.
If a Season 3 opens up, of course I am going to try to attend. When I participated for Season 1, I was doing really well and made it all the way to the quarter-finals.
But at that same time, I also had a really big showmatch in Texas vs Polt, so it was disappointing that I had to give up my spot and have someone else replace me that so I could attend that showmatch.
But it felt really good to win the championship for Season 2.
I originally wanted to change to the AM region starting from Season 1. But Blizzard wouldn’t allow me to because I was in Code S at that time.
So I played in Korea for Season 1, and then I went ahead and notified Blizzard that I was going to switch to the AM region for Season 2.
I’ve been a pro gamer for about eight years now. During those eight years, I’ve experienced being on a KeSPA team, an eSF team, and an overseas team.
KeSPA players receive a salary, so it feels like they have more of a duty and responsibility to the game. And I also think the competition is fiercer.
They also have to be really responsible for their own individual results. So I think that’s the difference between KeSPA players and eSF/overseas players.
And since I have to play against a KeSPA player next, as a players who’s on an overseas team, I just want to have a fun match.
First off, for this month, I participated in the Millenium House Cup, DreamHack, HomeStory Cup, and now I’m here at MLG.
I made pretty okay results like making the semi-finals twice, and the quarter-finals once.
And since MLG is my last chance for this month, and because this is my first ever MLG, I have this strong desire to win the MLG championship. I hope a lot of people will cheer me on.
