bjbjN (%L[ Hi, this is Chris from the Adaptive Services Division of the DC public library
and the Library for the Blind and physically handicapped. Well, we've done everything we
needed to do we have transferred the file, browsed the NLS BARD web site for a book we
wanted. We have downloaded that book onto our PC and we have transferred it from our
PC on to our Victor Reader Stream. Now all we need to do is close the Stream Companion
software and turn it off and turn it back on and see if it was successfully captured.
So we're going to TAB To close Okay, now you want to press SPACE to
close So what that means is that after we close The Stream Companion
software, we re going to be prompted to safely remove our hardware. Now that's a precaution
so that you were able to safely remove your hardware so that nothing that you've saved
onto it is accidentally erased.
So we re going to press SPACE So we re going to TAB to the STOP button.
Okay, we re going to choose OKAY by paying by pressing The SPACE bar.
Now it s okay to turn this off Because we heard it say SAFE TO REMOVE
HARDWARE. And now we ve unplugged it from the computer. Now I m going to turn it back
on. So that's one book that I have in my talking Books. Now to toggle
through the talking Books, I m going to press the 1 key on my Victor.
Okay, now
I m going to press six to go from book the book. Okay, so that's
the book I downloaded from NLS. There it is, and I'm going to go ahead and see if it's
in this and go ahead and play it. So just like any other NLS
book on your digital player Very good. h2K< h2K< 0:00:02
