SCOTT HARRISON: So I few things I'm excited about at the moment…
[Music]
I'm super excited about my new status on Delta Airlines. I made a huge mistake the first
few years, so if there are any non-profit founders out there, take note. I always bought
the cheapest coach ticket and I would save like $4 and go on some airline I'd never heard
of. So I had miles. I fly like 80 a year. I had miles on, I don't know, 20 or 30 different
airlines always expiring. Status on none. So, y'know, it took me, I don't know, five,
five and a half years to get wise to this but January 1 this year I said I'm gonna pick
an airline and I'm just gonna fly coach with them and in their lines. And it's been an
incredible different. So I got to gold status, next week I get to diamond. I might even get
to platinum by the end of the year. And Delta's not as bad as everybody had said they were.
Y'know, they've got Internet, the pilot comes out and greets everyone, so I'm excited about
now getting some free upgrades because I stayed loyal to one. I'm excited about Oscar Peterson.
I've kind of rediscovered my love for jazz recently and Oscar Peterson plus Spotify generates
like a free playlist of something like, I don't know, 10,000 songs so it seems the guy
was unbelievably prolific. So I'm excited about the church I'm going to at the moment.
It's called Hillsong. It started about a year and half ago in somebody's apartment and now
over 6,000 people come every Sunday and it meets in a nightclub and it actually meets
in a nightclub that I used to get wasted in, so that's a surreal experience hearing a pastor
and being like I was here in my former life. So we're up to like seven services every Sunday
just because we can't fit the people in. I'm excited about a new app, so all you New Yorkers
check this out. It's called Exit Strategy and I take the subway a lot and it's an awesome
app that tells you exactly where to get on so that you can get off exactly where you
wanna get off and walk straight through the turnstile and I love kind of geeky efficiency
like that.
I'm Scott Harrison and you're watching Epiphany.
