Hi I'm Bree, welcome to WIshponds Quick-Tips
Today, were on to the third of our three part series
on Ad Retargeting. Retargeting is the best way to reclaim your lost customers and
recapture your missed leads. If you missed the first parts
of our retargeting series, you can check them out here. In those first two videos
I introduced Retargeting, what it is and how it works. I also got right into
Retargeting on Facebook
using a 3rd party app like WIshpond To give you a second chance
at every customer. All right let's get started with retargetingon the Google Ad Display
Network
the third part of our series. You'll be more familiar with the display network as the banner
and sidebar ads you see
all over the internet On blog and news sites, on gaming
and music sites, everywhere. Most 3rd
party retargeting providers like Wishpond
have access to at least a portion of this network which is under Google's considerable
Ad umbrella. Thousands and thousands of websites
signed up to be part of the display ad network
and this network uses the phenomenal might of Google's ad tools to get you results
Now traditional advertising with the Google ad network is built around you
creating an ad
in Google's Ad tool. And Google shows that on those sites
most likely to be visited by your target market. Based on
key words you give them. But retargeting takes it up a notch
by showing it to the people who have visted your site on the websites
they are most likely to visit Maybe you need an example
lets say you own a business that sells cameras
Nice camera. Someone heads to your website thinking about buying a camera.
before they complete the sale, they get distracted by something
(bark). But
because your business has a retargeting pixel on it you can follow that possible customer
around the web. When they head to their favourite photo gallery site
they'll see your business ad. but not just your
business ad they'll see the exact same camera they were looking at earlier
on your site. Oh yeah I was just going to buy a camera today
congratulations on your sale. Make sense? well that's it for today
