So you're going to be dealing with some issues here as you're working with a wet material.
One of the things that I just noticed is that I wanted to kind of keep my glue out of this
specific area on the edges. So, maybe I wanted to put a double thick edge of the tape around
so that there wasn't the risk of moving that glue out onto there. But if you're just more
careful when you're working, because I'm working quickly at the moment, I wasn't careful on
that one edge. But you want to be sure that you're kind of giving it it's space for some
drying time. You start to feel frustrated and your ready to sort of stop for a bit,
it's ok, because it can always be worked back into. That's the great thing about using this
gel medium based adhesive is that you can work over the surface and do your final overcoats,
and I tend to do that when I finish with an area for the day. If I'm done with it, if
I feel over it, I make sure that I've done a complete overcoat, it's working out all
the bumps and lumps and air holes that happened, tend to happen. And you can see all the bubbles
that kind of come up with the adhesive. You sort of want to keep working back and forth
with your brush in order to eliminate those, especially around the edges there as well,
and like I said, this adhesive dries clear. So that's really great because your seeing
it really kind of milky right now, and maybe that's not what you want to see in your final
piece. You don't need to worry about that, it will actually dry clear. So I'm putting
on my final overcoats right now so that I can sort of set this aside and continue to
work on it at a later time.
