Fast food consumption by American adults is in slight decline. I'm Erin White and THIS
is a dailyRx Minute. In recent years, American adults ate an AVERAGE
of 11 percent of their TOTAL calories from fast food restaurants. This is a slight drop
from 13 percent reported in 2006. Adults between the ages of 20 and 39 reported the HIGHEST
levels of fast food consumption, with OBESE individuals in that age range eating 18 PERCENT
