The main differential of our species
is this ability to create tools
very sophisticated tools like all those we can see here,
for example, and more.
And, by using those tools,
make those tools a part of our model of being.
I think this marriage
are the two essential factors on our brain’s evolutional process,
that hasn’t stopped, that we can’t see
because the scale of the evolutional process
process is a very large scale of time,
hundreds of millions of years.
But I’m sure that
the technological explosion that our species
provided on the last 100, 200 years
is definitively influencing
what evolutional path
our brain will follow in the future.
By the way, it already influences, we have
have if anything, this technological explosion is accelerating
a process of brain evolution, because the brains of our children,
of our grandchildren, is already much different from ours.
If, by anything, we today have the first generation
that is capable of teaching the previous generation something about technology,
with five or ten years of age.
There’s a lot of five or ten year olds
teaching their grandparents how to use e-mail.
This is the first time in humanity’s history that a younger,
much younger generation,
can teach the previous generation
to interact with the world in a decisive manner.
