Look, lets just get right to the issue. Gays getting married is an affront to the sanctity of marriage.
It makes our whole marriage less important.
Marriage is about procreation.
Right up front, a man and a woman get together to have babies.
And while gays may be in love, they can't have babies. Therefore they shouldn't be allowed to get married.
Post Menapausal women can't have babies either, so we should change the law to prevent marriage for women over the age of 45.
And no marriage for men over 70. No, make that 80, definately. No marriage for men over 80.
And what about people who can't have kids? Don't want to have kids?
Or SHOULDN'T have kids.
Britney Spears?
We should be banning marriage for the non-procreators, too. Even if they ARE in love.
No kids, no rings.
Seriously, do you think Britany's first marriage was the result of love or of alcohol combined with stupidity?
If 24 hour wedlock isn't an affront to the sanctity of marriage, I don't know what is.
We don't outlaw marriage for straight stupid, foolish, drunk or old people.
So why should we take that right away from same sex couples?
Even if they ARE stupid, foolish, old or drunk?
Vote no on Proposition 8.
While we're at it, we really should just establish a cut off point. Like three or four and you're done.
I'm talking to you, Rush, Zha Zha, Billy Bob, Elizabeth, Shatner, Larry King....
