Let's begin then...
This is a Music Score Holder with ankle weights that I have both the stabilize
And this is what I am going to use to hold the light
As you can see this is nothing special
A pen holder
And a bowl that I liked it since it is plastic on the outside and polished
stainless steel on the inside
this bowl came with a lid and this is a L bracket that I found useful...as it has lot's of hols to secure the light
anyway we want
OK, I found some some screws to hold it in place
And this is that I will show you how to do
As you can see this light is strong enough to film
I didn't calibrated the cameras white balance
And it's not bad, I liked it...
A bowl with a lid
It was 4€
It came with a middle, and a smaller one
And this is the big one witch is the one that I'll use for the light
Let's start by making a circle to cut
OK, as you can see, this is a pen holder
And we are going to cut out a circle on the bowl
And we make holes in the pen holder to secure the lamp socket
And for a wire
This is going to be like this
I am going to use a ceramic lamp socket because these lamps do get a bit hot
In this case it's
88 millimetres
Radius
44 millimetres
OK, lets begin cutting
Since I already made the first one, there is a space of a few millimetres
Between the
plastic and the stainless steel
Let's begin cutting the plastic, with a Dremmel like
Let's begin
Don't forget the safety goggles protect your eyes
As you can see
there's the stainless steel
it must be cut with one of these...
okay
With a knife you cut the plastic
to be smooth and the stainless steel
now we are going to mark were to drill for the electric cable and for the lamp socket
Now we are going smooth the shavings
As you can see there is a sharp edge metal so we are going to put some
insulating tape
to prevent any short circuit
and for not letting the wire escape
we are putting some cable tie to secure it in place
as you can see
this wire is well protected, it's reenforced
not as the regular ones
Adjusting slightly...
we must reinforce a cable
to minimize the risk of short-circuit
You can paint this black
I didn't think that was important
to have unwanted reflections
I will see about that later
okay
this is going to prevent the cable from moving
The idea is to have something to make some height as you can see
So I am going to use this
One washer
a lock washer and the nut
Personally I missed here
since I am using screws that are too short
okay
after you have screwed
That sounds bad...
you must pass the too screws
OK, after making the holes in the pen holder
I am going to use these screws that have sort of a drill
Now we are going to aline the bowl with the pen holder
There are the holes... basically you just screw them in
As you can see you don't have to screw very tight
Now we have to find some way to cover these screws
in this one I used some plastic covers
that at the moment....I don't have any
I will use something
as you can see here
I used some plugs
I'll switch off the light
you can see watt I've used
that is watt it looks like
and basically that's it
Now if you want, you can use a switch
but the plug is a must
We are going to screw this
OK, I just finished with the switch and plug
and now I'm going to put the fluorescent bulb
which says it's 36 Watt's
witch is the equivalent of
180
watt's
incandescent bulb
OK, you know that this must never be done
but I'm not putting any pressure
and know i'm going here below to tighten it, OK
and now I'm going to play it in
The moment of truth!
And there was lights!
oohhh, aahhh
not bad
OK the camera was just flashed
don´t forget to put something here, so that no one gets hurt
something simple
another idea was to use the lid that this bowl has
to use it as a diffuser
and since it breaths from behind there is no problem
OK, that's it
I am sorry for my English but
this is the first time for me... so
be gentle.
