Hi, this is Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we'll be discussing the red Magic
color. And now we're going to go over Incandescent Soulstoke. He's a great card and he's two
and a red. He's a creature. He's an Elemental Shaman. He is a Rare from the Lorwyn expansion.
However he's 2/2 which means he has an ability. Once again, it's great here, we have actually
two abilities that he has. So once again we're getting an ability for free because you only
paid three. So, you're getting one for free. Other Elemental creatures you control get
1/ 1 as long as he's in play. So, in a heavy Elemental deck this guy is a must. He boosts
every Elemental except him. And then he has this really cool creature burn. Now, here's
how creature burn works. You pay one and a red and you tap Incandescent Soulstoke. Once
you do that you may put any Elemental, any Elemental you have in your hand, he could
be 9/9 Elemental, you could put him into play and he comes into play with Haste. Which means,
that attack turn you can attack with that creature you just dropped into play. However,
once again, once the attack phase is over, once damage is all said and done you have
to sacrifice it at the end of your turn. However, once again, if you know that your player cannot
block this Elemental for any reason that they're going to get hit right in the head with an
Elemental they didn't see coming. Which means for three Manna you got two great abilities
and you can seriously harm your opponent all from this little 2/2 creature.
