OK, we've got our extruded handle ready. And for my casseroles, I like to do kind of a
decorative floral looking handle. And the way that I do that is I cut two short pieces
and one long piece. And I'm just lining it up. These I'm lining up, that one I added
a little length to. And now I'll line up my long one. Oh! I lost my needle. I'll cut it
with this. I don't know where that thing went. OK. So now I have three pieces for each handle.
And what I'm going to do is take the short pieces, fold them over my fingers and squeeze
them together. Do that with both of those. And because they're very wet, you don't have
to score and slip. The clay is the same consistency so it will actually stick to itself very well.
And then I'll do the same thing with the larger one. But I'll just make it a little bit bigger.
And then I'll go and do the other handle. Same process, just squeezing it together.
You don't want to have to touch it too much because the clay is pretty wet and you don't
want to damage what you're working on. So now we're ready to put the handles together.
