Hi this is Tim with Eduware,
and in this video we're going to continue with learning about creating and editing exams.
In this video we're going to talk all about
browsing for questions in the question tree and adding those questions to your exam.
I've already created my exam
called exam one
and I'm taken to the main section and right now it's blank.
Over on the left here we have our
question tree where we can browse by clicking on any of these titles.
As I click on them I get sub topics such as,
foundations of genetics,
and if I click on that
I'm going to get even more subtopics
right here.
As I click through these on the right
questions are going to be populated.
I can read through these questions
and take a look at them.
I can click on questions
for more info.
To add a question to my exam,
lets say I like this question right here,
I simply click on the add button
and that question has been added to my exam and I can verify that because it now says remove.
And then also
there is a little one that appears over here.
If I also like this question over here I can add it as well,
and now it reads two.
If you change your mind about a question that you've added you can simply click remove,
it'll ask you if you're sure,
and then you hit yes.
While viewing here
let's say I really like this historical background topic under foundations of genetics and genetics
and I would just like to add
a handful of random questions in this catagory to my exam.
To do that
I'm going to click on this random button that appears over here.
It's going to ask me how many I would like
and I would like to do only five
and I'm going to click add to the test,
confirm,
and in those questions five questions were just added to my exam.
So you've just seen how to
browse
the question tree,
add questions from the question tree your exam,
remove them,
and also
add random questions in different categories to your exams.
In the next videos we're going to go into more details
to talk about filtering questions,
question search,
and adding by ID number.
