Gina and I are now going to demonstrate the Gateway pose. It is a really nice way to stretch
our, the side of your body and it feels really good. We're going to take a wide stance and
bring the sides of our feet together and we're going to tip our heels slightly outward with
toes slightly in. We're going to think about lengthening our tail bone right down to the
ground and pulling our belly button in so that we widen out through the sacrum, good.
We're just going to reach to the partner's inside hand. We're going to inhale and reach
your hand up to the sky and then over pressing in to your partner's palm. The heads are going
to be touching. Inhale and as you exhale rotate and looking up to your top hand opening up
your heart and then inhaling and reaching up and exhaling coming back down and doing
a little dosi do with your partner so we can come in to the other side. You want to connect
the little toe to the heel together with your partner and then step way wider than your
hip. Lengthening with tail bone down you are going to take the inside of your partner's
hand, inhale reach the arm out to the side. Reach your arm up over your head and press
into your partner's palms as you inhale rotate your chest and look up to your hands opening
up your gate, opening up your heart and then exhaling, releasing the hand and stepping
your feet together.
