Hello everyone, this is Choicerish or aka Chihiro
I split the 100 yen store makeup video into 3 and today's video is going to show
how I used the products and I'm going review the products at the same time
I made a look using all 100 yen products so hope you enjoy!
I'm going to start off with my eye makeup
I've already applied eyeshadow base so I'm heading straight to eye shadows
I'm using Ellefa's Pearl in eyeshadow in Natural brown
these eyeshadows aren't pressed very well so there's quite a bit of fall out
so make sure to tap off the excess before applying to the lids
this colour is off-white so it may be better to apply it there
I thought this colour was better off to stand on it's own rather than as a blending colour
next taking the dark brown, I'm applying it to the outer crease area
I'm using it as a crease colour today but if you pat the colour on, it give a really nice gold colour so it could be used as the main colour
Next taking the medium brown, I'm filling in the gap between the highlight and the crease colour
this creates a lovely vertical gradation
this colour really blended in well with my skin so it's hard to tell if it's even there!
so I think it's perfect for a no makeup, or natural look
taking the same crease colour, redefine and deepen the crease
try to take a fine tipped blending brush and that will make blending easier and to a better outcome
and using the same colour, lightly apply to the bottom lash line
using a pencil brush, take the medium brown and blend the dark brown
and hopefully that will create a lovely gradation
I'm also blending it in with the highlight on the inner corner
Next I'm going to line my eyes using ellefa's liquid eyeliner in black
I heard may people say that this eyeliner smudges easily
and quite a lot of product seems to be on the tip so I recommend to really get the excess product off before applying
the tip is quite hard and is a felt tip so I think it'll be good for detailed work
Just apply the product as close of the lash line as possible
if you get this product onto your lashes by mistake, it drys up and hardens so I recommend combing it out asap
I didn't really like how the eyeliner was really defined so
I took the darkest shade in the palette and applied it on top of the winged line
to give it a soft smokey look
Next I'm applying base mascara from Yokubari Hakuryoku
it has white fibres and once it dries up, it turns transparent but
if you do a couple coats, I don't think it will turn transparent
Next using the mascara from the same line, I'm using a volumizing mascara
I'm also using the mascara guard during the application
and this thing is amazing! I don't have to worry about a thing and I can just coat my lashes away with mascara!
the mascara itself give quite a lot of volume also but it tends to clump easily so
it's probably good to comb out your lashes after application and there's a comb on the mascara guard so that's very useful!
I found it difficult to apply mascara to the bottom lashes with the mascara guard
so I thought it'll be good to use on the top lashes but it's probably easier to applying normally on the bottom lashes
Next I'm using Ellefa's eyeliner pencil in brown and I'm filling in my brows
then I'm taking everbelina's eyebrow powder in brown to blend and fill in my brows
this product isn't too pigmented so I thought you might be safe buying a darker shade than you imagine
I like how you can adjust the darkness of the brows with this product
to finish off the brows, I'm taking everbelina's eyebrow top coat
this is famous to really keep the brows in place
the brush is literally like a nail polish so application wasn't too easy
I applied it from the front and back but I couldn't get my brows to be how I wanted them to be so
you can use a spooley to fix that if it bothers you
Next I'm taking Elfa's multi cheek
this comes off too white on my skin tone but I'm going to use that to my advantage
and I'm putting that onto the high parts of my cheeks so it looks like a highlight and it's also in trend
it looks cuter if you apply the blush in a patting motion rather than swiping the blush on
Next I'm taking Ellefar's Hanataka powder in pearl pink as highlight
I'm applying to my cheek bones, nose, forehead and chin
When I applied it with my finger, it got really blotchy so
I think it's better to apply with a brush
and the product itself is a loose powder
you tend to get too much product onto the brush so I recommend tapping off the excess product before applying
I'm finishing the look off with Winmax Pearl Rouge in #1
I was surprised that the colour wasn't as coral as I expected it to be
I got a comment asking if the lipstick getting into the creases bothered me
and it did a little so I applied the Rouge Gel on top like a lip gloss
this made the lips look really smooth and the application is very easy, just like a lip gloss
and that completes the 100yen store makeup and review!
How was it?
I think I was talking too much but hopefully you found something that may have drawn your interest
