Hello my name is Jose Zuniga and I am representing ExpertVillage.com. We got to the point that
we have to loosen the roots for our gardenias. There's alot of benefits to it, if you get
the gardenias roots loose it's going to accelerate the growth of the plant and you won't damage
the roots while transplanting. You have to be gentle with it, it's like a little baby,
it's like an investment. Apply pressure to the one gallon or whatever size container
you purchased. Apply pressure all around it and flip it to the side. We want the roots
to grow in their new home. Gently try to loosen.
Put it back in your container. Normally the soil is extremely dry, you'll do the same
thing. This is how we prepare the root for our gardenias.
