Former TOWIE star says seeing wife on BBC's Our Girl was 'her moving up to the next level'
MARK Wright has admitted he cried when he saw wife Michelle Keegan for the first time in almost 3 months.
Visiting Michelle in South Africa where she's been working on BBC Series Our Girl, Mark said he became emotional when spotting her on set.
"Corrie will always be in her heart, but this is her moving up to the next level," he told Star magazine.
"When I saw her on set with everyone around her it made me cry.
"I wasn't emotional, I was just so proud of her."
The 28 year old added it would have been "inhuman" to not feel sad without Michelle by his side ahead of their first wedding anniversary.
"Let's just say it would be inhuman for a man to miss his wife after such a long time, but I was very excited for her return."
As for the trip itself, Mark described the surroundings as one of the most stunning places he's ever been.
"South Africa is amazing, it's one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited," he said.
"Michelle was amazing too. She loved every minute of it over there. The set it huge.
"They built a refugee camp as part of it and it went on for acres and acres.
"I remember thinking, 'wow, this is pretty big and it's all about her!'"
