The first race of the Formula One season took place last Sunday in Melbourne, Australia.
Ahead of the season-opener the Mercedes pit crew got a chance to brush up on their pit
stops at a practice session at Silverstone on March 7th.
Both Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg took the opportunity to put their new Silver Arrow
F1 W04 cars through their paces on the track which hosts the British Grand Prix.
Hamilton is new to the Mercedes team, having joined from McLaren.
The British driver finished fifth in Melbourne, 45.561 seconds behind race winner Kimi Raikkonen.
The 2008 world champion looked to be in contention for victory at one stage at Albert Park, but
he had to make an unplanned third pit stop due to tyre wear, which saw him drop down
the field.
It was a race to forget for German Rosberg, he retired after 26 laps.
Mercedes will be looking for improvements in this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix, the
race takes place at the Sepang International Circuit on Sunday.
