My name is John Forde, I'm a director of PRO-Partnership. And this week's business tip is on Auditing.
For companies looking to set-up in Qatar, it's a legal requirement that an external
auditing company is selected.
The firm you select must be registered in the state of Qatar and will provide the following
services as a minimum.
Once the company is established and has obtained it's Commercial Registration (CR).
The selected company must apply within 30 days to the tax department through the company's
tax card.
The financial year in Qatar ends on the 31st of December.
By this date, all companies must have closed their books. By the 30th of April, the auditors
must have submitted your financial reports to the tax department along with any corresponding
taxes.
There are many auditing firms in Qatar. Ranging from the big 4 right through to small local
firms.
Make sure to select the company that's right for you.
