In this video I try making Hawaiian chicken using a cast-iron skillet.
You'll need: 4 chicken fillets
2 cups Pineapple Juice 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/3 cup Soy Sauce 2 tbsp Olive Oil
and 1 tsp Lemon Pepper
Start out with a gallon sized zip lock bag. Add in chicken, soy sauce, brown sugar, lemon
pepper and pineapple juice.
Seal the bag and make sure its well mixed. Store this in the refrigerator for at least
12 hours. Making sure the chicken is evenly coated by
the marinade.
When your ready to start cooking, preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
On the stovetop, using a large cast-iron skillet, add the olive oil and begin heating the skillet
to med-high.
Add chicken to the skillet and set aside the marinade.
You want to sear each side for about 3 - 4 minutes.
Then, add the marinade to the chicken. Turn off heat to the skillet on the stovetop.
Once the oven is preheated, put skillet in the oven and cook for about 20 - 25 minutes.
When the time is up, check the temperature of the chicken.
It should reach at least 170 degrees F. If not, try cooking for another 5 minutes
and recheck.
That's it! It's done. The chicken will have a golden brown, lightly
caramelized texture on the outside. A juicy, slightly sweet, pineapple taste on
the inside. This is definitely, the best chicken I have
ever made!
It's easy to prepare and let marinate overnight. I would serve this with a side of your favorite
vegetables. The recipe is listed down below.

you would do different if you make this recipe. Thanks for watching.
