The modern ruins of the industrial civilization is clearing up,
and people are curios of what will emerge from underneath the rubble –
humanity is wondering about the new picture and waiting anxiously.

Surely, a new civilization will emerge from underneath the rubble.
It will be a new civilization, and this civilization, I believe,
will be the rise of an Islamic civilization that will lead the way in the 21st century.

It is clear that, no one will be able to stand in the way of this civilization.

And it is still clear that, those who help build this new civilization
will be rewarded – very very lucratively.

And we should know this: those who cannot help
the honorable rise of this new civilization, the Islamic civilization,
will all be condemned to life of misery.

And Muslims will pick up from where they have left off – and they must.

In the late 20th century, treaties such as OSCE
and the Charter of Paris were signed.

And in these treaties, democracy is mentioned.

Human rights is mentioned.

Free market economy is mentioned.

But what kind of democracy?

Will this democracy be a goal or a tool?

This is what needs to be opened for discussion.

For us, democracy can never be a goal!
When we evaluate democracy applying 'ilm [Islamic knowledge],
we will realize that it is simply a tool!

If democracy is a phenomenon of the people’s will,
then democracy is a tool that has emerged in order to facilitate whatever it is that the people want.
[in Arabic]
In that case, those who say they believe in democracy
must also endure the its aftermath.
[in Arabic]
But in some regions they didn’t endure it.
[in Arabic]
They said they believed in democracy, but didn’t endure the aftermath. There is Algiers...
