Hi everyone I’m Ryoya.
The theme of this month is breakfast.
I’m making vegetable quiche today.
I guess Japanese who eat quiche in the morning is minority. Especially at home.
Even I don’t cook quiche just for myself though.
I’m going to make quiche today for shooting, so tomorrow’s breakfast would be quiche for sure.
quiche looks really nice so if you make this for party, everyone gonna love this.
and of course it is tasty, let’s get started!
It is easy to make vegan quiche.
I use tofu instead of eggs, sometimes I substitute bean paste for eggs.
I think tofu is much more convenient than beans, so I used tofu today.
You can use either firm tofu or silken tofu.
Tofu’s strong flavor remains if you only use salt to taste.
So I fry vegetables and mushroom with coconut oil.
or you could fry with normal oil and add cucunut milk into the mixture, that’ll work as well.
You could also add almond flour into the mixture.
so I recommend to add flavor to the mixture in addition to salt.
