It's a big day because we're going to break ground on a new building, but we wouldn't
be breaking ground on a new building if our first building weren't successful.
What we're really here today to celebrate I think is the construction of an expanded
and broader university under the leadership of Dr. Ramsey here obviously very significant
expansion out here into Shelby Campus and what it means for the city and the university
as well. Congratulations to all the partners, the University
of Louisville, the city of Louisville, NTS, all those resources that have been involved
in making this project a reality. You know what we do with for economic development,
we get a lot of attention when Ford makes an investment in Kentucky or when GE makes
an investment in Louisville and we're going to continue to do that because those are great
things, but in reality, this is where economic development begins.
The second building that we're that's under construction is similar but not identical
to the first building. It's of similar size, similar scale, different colors, different
materials but it's going to continue with the iconic design that we felt that we have
set on the first building.
