Column of tanks and IFVs moves out to complete a hard and important task:
land the troops within militant rear.
All of the way lies through the territory captured by militants.
Thus one can't relax one's attention not for a minute.
Vehicles approach the highway.
Smoke turned up by the column is seen from distance.
An ambush can be in any building
and battle vehicle crews use the machine guns for defensive fire.
Dangerous sector.
Vehicles increase the speed.
Cars destroyed by militants while capturing the area and during their rule
are seen everywhere upon the highway and nearby it.
Almost there.
Vehicles have to reduce speed while leaving the highway.
And militants start firing small arms immediately.
Constant cracks upon the armour are heard.
The vehicles are covering each other from all directions
not allowing militants to pop from covers and use grenade launchers.
Nobody's going to give them a chance to fire with precision.
Here's the landing zone.
Troops' goal is the high-rise building behind this plot.
Vehicles lay down dense fire upon all the nearby buildings and possible militant covers.
Tanks take up the positions to protect IFVs
while those are cleaning up the adjacent buildings
and prepare the site to land troops.
Tanks position themselves to see most of directions
and deny bandits a chance for surprise strike.
IFVs have landed the troops which are attacking the building.
Tanks and IFVs are firing upon all the suspicious holes in the walls
ensuring infantry's safety in the mean time.
IFVs are going back finally.
Tanks are covering the landed troops with smoke
to let them take up positions in the freed building.
Time to return.
The convoy has completed its task: IFVs have went there and back well.
But new information arrives:
attack troops need reinforcements.
Tanks line up along the IFV route to cover those.
Operation goes on.
