has been using this innovative technology for teaching, learning, and research.
A growing number of faculty and students are using Second Life
virtual classes, chat sessions and field trips
Just this week SBMI hosted its first program wide
virtual poster session in Second Life
Students from the Applied Health Informatics Program
presented their posters during a two hour virtual poster session
just like real life poster sessions, students stood beside their posters
and presented their work through voice communication
During the Q&A session, they answered questions brought forward by their peers
instructors and guests
