Hi, this is Karl James owner of Creolesoul Catering located in Round Rock, TX and I'm
Taylor Glover and on behalf of Expert Village we are here to show you a chicken and sausage
jambalaya. Now we got that juice from those tomatoes now in there and the tomato sauce,
we got our sausage rendered out in there. We added in our holy trinity, now we're going
to add in the rest of our seasoning mix that we made earlier. That included those, that
dry thyme,
turn this down just a little. We want to get that seasoning mixed throughout. Is your arms
tired? (girl) No. Youth you got to love it. So we got those nice colors in there from
the tomato sauce, green bell pepper, white from the onions that become transparent like
a clearish looking you can still see them. You got that garlic, you can smell it, the
red bell peppers adding to the contrast to the green and so we added that seasoning mix
and like I said earlier if you can find it fresh thyme works really well. But if you
can't you can use dry thyme leafs, use one and a half times more of the dry than what
you would use fresh. So we got this going and I guess we'll see you back at the next
step.
