I'm Trimester 4 and I'm from Seattle, Washington.
Well, I had worked in chiropractic for eight years before coming to Logan, and
and during that time, I had seen so many different chiropractic miracles. I'd seen
infertile couples get pregnant
after all they did was change diet and started getting adjusted.
I have seen children
rid their ear infections after being on rounds and rounds and rounds of antibiotics,
as well as people's
blood pressure dropping
getting out of pain after
car accidents or whatnot, and it was just
once you see so many things
like that you can't help but be drawn to it
and since I had worked in it for so long, it was just kind of a natural progression.
There's so much here that Logan offers that other schools don't. The campus
is amazing, and you don't get that at a lot of other places.
And the area that the school's located
is by far one of the best that I've seen.
Coming in as a
single, married person
I needed somewhere that I could find that was safe, that I would feel comfortable, and
this area has it.
For me, since my husband's not here, it was
it was pretty essential that I needed to build
a network of people right away. I don't have family here, without my husband here.
I didn't know anybody moving down,
so I got involved right away.
I started out in ASP as class president.
for four trimesters, I've been involved with SACA, which is Student American Chiropractic Association.
I love our faculty here.
Everybody's always really friendly.
You always see people saying hi down the hall. Everybody's just,
they're always interested in
what you're doing, what's going on.
If there is
anything that you need help with, they're always there to help
and make things better, which is always nice.
I think it's really important to get involved,
and I think that there's a lot more
out there to get involved with
than just the
mainstream things.
I wish that somebody would have told me that,
"Oh hey, you should be involved in this, you should be involved in that."
I kind of did it on my own,
but I think that a lot of other students they don't get that as much, and
they don't get the opportunities to go out and network and
to meet new people the way that I have.
