Since acupuncture is based on the meridian theory, so let's talk about how many meridians
we have. What's the regular meridian? What's the regular meridian? What's the extra meridians?
We have twelve normal meridians on each side of the body. It's connected with long large
intestine, spleen, stomach, gall bladder, urine bladder, kidney, chippowarmer, pericardium
and the liver. So energy flows from one internal organs to the next one and goes the circle.
Go through all the twelve internal organs. Starts from lung and ends up with the lung.
The last organs we select the energy go through is liver, and then go back to lung. This circle
takes twenty-four hours. Lung starts at from three o'clock to five o'clock in the morning.
So each internal organs takes two hours, the energy go through. So that's how the normal
twelve meridian connect to each other. Then we also have eight extra meridians. And in
the mid-line of the front of the body's called a jin meridian. And in the mid-line of the
back side of the body's called the two meridian. And then on the side we have another four
meridians called a yang li, yin li, yang tau, yin tau. And then we have a channel go around
the wrist area. It's called a di meridian. And then we have another meridian basic connected
with the reproductive system that's called a tu meridian. So that's eight extra meridian
and twelve regular meridian to connect internal organs to the body service.
