Hi, This Jessica Hagman with the Ohio University Libraries.
Did you know that you can renew your books right from the library website.
This videos shows you how.
Starting from the library homepage, scroll over the my accounts link.
and then click on the link for my library account.
On this page you will log in with your Ohio ID and password.
Which is the same login and password that you would use for Blackboard or My Ohio. Click submit.
Once you've logged into your account, click on the link that says the number of items you have checked out,
for me it's 14. And then scroll down to see the list of items that you have checked out to you.
It can be helpful to sort by due date, so you can see which items are do soon.
And I can see that this first one, The Bay of the Foxes is due on August 21st.
So to renew it, I will check the box and then click on renew marked.
If you wanted to renew all of your items at once, you can also do renew all.
So I'll click renew marked and then confirm that I would like to renew this item by clicking yes.
And now if I scroll down I will see that this item is now due on December 29th and it tells me that it has been renewed.
If your some reason your item cannot be renewed you will also see that status listed here.
If you have any questions about renewing your items, remember that you can always go back to the library's homepage,
click on the "ask us" link to open a chat with a librarian
or click on the "need help" link to see other ways to get in touch with us.
I hope you found this videos helpful. If you have any question about renewing your books
or any other information, let us know.
