GE MXRC Hey everyone, Aquaman here with FilterDoctor.com.
Today we’re looking at the GE MXRC. This is a typical carbon fridge filter. It
replaces the FXRC in GE Monogram Refrigerators. Now if you have an FXRC in any other type
of fridge other than the GE Monogram then you need the GE MWF and an adaptor. But for
FXRC’s found in the GE Monogram Refrigerators, the MXRC is the proper replacement.
It’s a standard fridge filter rated NSF Standard 42 and 53. It reduces things like
chlorine, particulates, lead, mercury, lindane, atrazine, cysts and microorganisms, toxaphene,
benzene, dichloroethylene, nasty things that you don’t want in your drinking water.
As is common to most fridge filters, it needs to be replaced approximately every 6 months.
Don’t ever go longer than 6 months on your fridge filter. It’s just a bad idea.
This is the GE MXRC, and I’m your host Aquaman with FilterDoctor.com.
Thanks for watching.
