Sailing began at the age of 8 here at the Xábia "Club Náutico" (Yacht Club)
I loved it. It gave me a lot of freedom and being in Xàbia is fantastic since it has such great views.
The characteristics of the Xàbia coast are that it has a rocky bottom, where it is very easy to anchor boats
and it also has fantastic views, from any of its Capes and even the view of Montgó from the sea is priceless.
It has a bay very protected from the wind and it is very peaceful in this area
It is a very natural sensation to listen to the sea gulls, the waves and it is very comfortable.
The waters are very calm, crystal-clear and it is possible to go swimming at practically any spot in Xàbia.
In my case, for people with disabilities, the Arenal beach area is very accessible and user-friendly for swimming and sunbathing
and in terms of beaches such as Granadella, they achieved positive ratings last year and practically all of Xàbia's beaches have the blue flag
which means they are perfectly suitable for swimming.
I would start from North to South, beginning with "Cabo San Antonio", where there are cliffs which impress everyone
it has a good view of Montgó, with excellent views and little by little,
we travel south until we reach Arenal, a very popular beach in Xàbia
and we continue on until we reach the island of Portitxol which is one of the prettiest islands in this area
it is rocky and its beaches are magnificent.
Nautical sports in Xàbia, now there are lots of surfing fans and kayak surfing is also becoming popular;
as well as the lifelong sport of scuba diving and even sport fishing is becoming strong here in Xàbia.
Yes, Xàbia has a lot of possibilities, in my case, I am training with people from the Nordic countries,
we work out with Dutch and German people who visit us and train because they feel very comfortable here
there are very good conditions and for example, in the case of cycling, there are many professional teams who train here in this zone.
