In this video, I’ll detail how to create a Handbook in Handbook studio.
Start by pointing your browser to your handbook Studio’s url.
Provide your user credentials to log on.
Once Inside the studio, to create a new Handbook,
click the plus button in the upper right hand corner to bring up the main menu for adding new handbooks.
This will bring up the main menu for adding new Handbooks.
Give your handbook a title
and then apply a key code.
Keycodes restrict user access to handbooks so that only your intended viewer or audience has access.
These are mandatory.
Specify a category to classify your Handbook
and then give your handbook a description.
The valid period dates specify how long the handbook is viewable and downloadable.
You can specify up to the minute you want the Handbook to appear and disappear from view.
For example, let’s say this Handbook provides metrics to sales managers every Monday.
Well, I can restrict access so that the Handbook is viewable between certain hours during the same day.
Click save and the new Handbook is now available.
Now, to populate this Handbook with data, double click the Handbook icon to enter the Editing Interface.
From there click the second plus button to the right
expand the Media Manager Window
and either use the media already uploaded or click the upload button
in the bottom right hand corner to upload new files from your computer or network.
When I create Handbooks, I just drag the media right from my desktop.
Let me show you how to do that.
So that is a HTML5 document.
That's a movie.
And that's a PDF with sales analytics.
Once the media has been added, simply exit out of the Studio as all changes are saved automatically.

That’s all there is to it. Thanks for watching.
